 Hand-dyed and handmade in the artist's studio

Double-fold bias tape cut from luxurious 100% silk charmeuse— so lovely. Makes beautiful seam finishes, trims, and straps if stitched closed. Make sure to use a sharp Microtex needle and fine sewing thread! Bias tape listings tagged with LIMITED EDITION are created with either deadstock silk charmeuse (meaning the original fabric is not restocked) or are dye experiments the artist does in her studio 

 1/4” wide, single fold. Sold by the yard. Multiple units are sold as a continuous piece.


Most segments are 36-48+” long, however, the ends may be shorter (18-36”) depending on where on the spool the length was cut from. Each segment is stitched with matching silk thread and is pinked for neatness

The silk for this bias tape has been pre-washed and dried to reduce color runoff. However, as is the case for all colored silk, there may be very slight bleeding if washed in hot water. Cold water and pH-neutral detergent for delicates is suggested.
